"Miss Miller" was Danville Area Community College's First President (1946-1972) and was instrumental in starting athletics at the college. She loved watching her Jaguars compete and this building is named in her honor. She was also the first female junior college president in the state of Illinois. Miss Miller passed away in 1986 at the age of 86.
