Leon played for DACC Hall of Fame coach Jim Heeren and is a native in Chicago. He still holds several records which include: most points in season (724), most points in career (1,284), most points in a game (45), most rebounds in a season (347), and most rebounds in a career (838). Leon attended and played at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and is retired from education. Leon resides in Edwardsville, Illinois.
