Men's Baseball Athlete: 1998-2000
David Harrell came to Danville Area Community College in the fall of 1998 from Roncalli High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. David was a two-time All-American selection, two-time All-Region 24 selection, and a two-time All-Conference selection during his time at DACC. He finished his career with a .411 batting average, 43 doubles, and 113 runs batted in. He was the leader on the 1999 team that won the Region 24 Championship and was voted by his teammates in both 1999 and 2000 as the team Most Valuable Player. He ended his career at DACC in 2000 as the team captain and went on to compete at Purdue University for two seasons. David currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.Â
