Men's Baseball Athlete: 1970-1972

Gaylin Pabst was an outstanding baseball player during the 1971 and 1972 seasons. Gaylin was drafted by the Atlanta Braves organization in the early 1970’s but did not sign. The Danville native was a member of the 1970 American Legion state runner-up team. Two of his three sons have attended Danville Area Community College as well, with Wes playing baseball and Joe played golf. Gaylin currently resides in Danville.
