Kyle attended Danville Area Community College from 1998-2000 and was an All-American in both cross country and track as well as an Academic All-American. He attended Eastern Illinois University after DACC and was named to the Ohio Valley Conference Athlete of the Year for 2002-2003. He was inducted into the Eastern Illinois University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008. Kyle served as the DACC Cross Country Coach from 2011-2016. Kyle currently resides in Danville and is a Danville Police Officer.
