Hall of Fame
Dawn came to DACC from Westville High School in the fall of 1978 and made an immediate impact on the cross country program. She held records in the state of Illinois for several years for junior college cross country/track in the 1500, 3000, 5000, 10000, and 5K. Dawn was an All-American at DACC in cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, and the marathon. She was inducted into the NJCAA Hall of Fame in 1993 and continued her career at Eastern Illinois University, where she was a captain and Most Valuable Runner in cross country. Dawn currently resides in Westville.
