Danville Area Community College Athletics

Jim was a huge supporter of DACC Athletics as well as athletics in general in Vermilion County.  He was the president of the DACC Athletic Booster Club and was the founder of the DACC Golf Outing that is still running today.  Jim owned several Burger King restaurants in the east central Illinois area and was one of the original founders of the Burger King/Schlarman Classic held here at DACC.  He was also an original sponsor of the NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament that started at DACC in 1994.  Jim passed away in 2005 at the age of 54.
