Lady Jaguars Drop Game to Lake Land, Fall to 3-8 on Season

Alexus Mobley Records Double-Double in Loss

DANVILLE, ILLINOIS – The Lady Jaguars hosted Lake Land College on Sunday afternoon.  The Jaguars fell short in the contest by a final score of 57-47.  Lake Land came into the contest with a 9-2 record, including a win over #7 Illinois Central.  The Jaguars held the Lakers for the majority of the game; however, it was the Lakers who prevailed in the final quarter to ultimately end the Jaguar threat.

The loss drops the Jaguars to 3-8 on the season.  Alexus Mobley led the Jaguar offense with a strong double-double performance.  Mobley tallied 17 points to compliment her 15 rebounds within the game. Asaya Bulgin added to the Jaguar offense by scoring 13 points.  Hunter Edwards and Riley Dowers both added 6 points.

The Jaguars will begin prep for Spoon River as they hit the road on Thursday March 4^th.  Spoon River currently sits with a 1-7 record and averaging 62.0 points per game. Tip-Off slated to begin at 5:30 PM.
