Jaguars Bested by #10 Lincoln Land

Maria Artigas Scores 10 in Loss

DANVILLE, ILLINOIS – The Lady Jaguars hosted Lincoln Land in a Thursday night tilt. The Jaguars were looking to turn the tide after their lost to John Wood this past Sunday; However, it was the Loggers who prevailed in the contest.

The Jaguars lost tonight's game by a final score of 74 to 37. Currently, Lincoln Land holds the #10 spot in the National Polls and improved their overall record tonight to 8-3. The Jaguars drop to 3-7 on the year and will shift their focus for this Sunday's contest when they host Lake Land.

Leading the Jaguar charge in the contest was Freshman Maria Artigas, she scored 10 points, had 2 rebounds and forced 6 turnovers. Freshman Alexus Mobley and Asaya Bulgin also produced big numbers for the Jaguars tonight, each scoring 8 points apiece. Freshman Simoneta Fernandez added 6 points on the night as well.

The Jaguars will be back in action this Sunday against the Lady Lakers, tip off to begin at 1:00 PM
