Lady Jaguars Fall to #11 Parkland

DANVILLE, IL - It was a close first half between the Lady Jaguars and the Lady Cobras for the second meeting this season

Danville (14-10) hosted Parkland (19-3) on Wednesday night. The first half was a battle, as both teams knocked down important shots. The Jaguars were 5-17 in field-goal range in the first quarter, and improved to 4-11 in the second quarter. Parkland shot 50% from field-goal range and 25% from the 3-point line in the first quarter, but Danville held the Cobras to 35.7% in field-goals and 0% from 3-pointers in the second quarter.

Parkland was able to come out to a quick start in the second half, and ran with it to take a strong lead. The Jaguars fought, but eventually came up short, losing to the Cobras 68-46.

Danville will play again on their home floor this Saturday, February 17th when they host the Trailblazers of Lewis & Clark at 1 pm.
