Lady Jaguars Stand Victorious on Sophomore Day

Maria Falanga Scores 23 in Her Final Game at Mary Miller

DANVILLE, ILLINOIS - The Lady Jaguars were looking to make strides towards the later half of the season and they've done just that with this win over John Wood. Trailing at half by the score of 27-33, the Lady Jaguars did not let the score get to them and continued to battle through the final two quarters to eventually have the game tied in the fourth to take it to overtime.

Tied at 61 points respectively, the Lady Jaguars dug deep into their reserves in order to gut out a thrilling victory by the final score of 71-69. Leading the Jaguar offense was Maria Falanga with 23 points, Rachel Spencer and Lauryn Wiley both added 13 and Tarneisha Young contributed with 12.

This win puts the Lady Jaguars overall record to 6-14 and also gives them their first win in conference.
