Jaguars Drop Conference Opener to ICC

Wiley Tallies 14 in Loss

DANVILLE, ILLINOIS - The Lady Jaguars were riding a hot streak coming into the conference season winning the previous three. However, Illinois Central had other plans to stop the Jaguars from extending the run. The Jaguars came out hot in the first quarter keeping the game close and within two possessions, but ultimately the Cougars were to much and the Jaguars dropped the game by the final score of 42-68.

Lauryn Wiley continued to play great basketball and helped the Jaguars offensively with 14 points, and Maria Falanga chipped in with 8. The team will spend the next four contests on the road before returning home on February 8th when they host Lewis and Clark.
