Lady Jaguars Drop Final Home Game 57-27

Danville, Illinois - The Lady Jaguars fell short to the #1 team in the country Illinois Central College 57-27.  However, the Lady Jaguars managed to keep the game relatively close at half, despite being outscored in the second half.  Coach Harris and company came off a thrilling win over rival foe Parkland in the last week hoping to provide some similar vibes in this contest; however, the strength of the cougars was to much for the Jaguars to handle.  Kylie Vogel Sophomore Day

Leading scorers for the Lady Jaguars were Maria Falanga (Tore Del Greco, Italy) and Kylie Vogel (Fairbury, Illinois) with 12.  Despite the loss, the Lady Jaguars were able to still come together to honor the wonderful bunch of sophomores who have dedicated their time and effort to the Lady Jaguar Basketball Program. 
 
Kylie Vogel (Picture Right) earned 2nd Team All-Conference in her freshman season and is part of the Academic Honors list.  Kylie intends to continue her basketball career at the 4 year level and plans to major in Kinesiology/Exercise Science.  Kylie is accompanied by her parents Keith and Janita Vogel. 

Amari Brodie (Picture Below) has been an aggressive and athletic asset to the DACC Women's Basketball team for the past two years. She plans to continue her basketball career at the four year level and intends to major in General Studies.  She is accompanied today by her mother Octavia Brodie, Moneice Cotton, and Montrez Cotton.  

Amarie Brodie Sophomore Day  We want to thank our sophomores for bringing the energy and laying a solid   foundation for a new era of Lady Jaguar basketball. You can catch the Lady   Jaguars in action on Wednesday, at Lincoln Land starting at 5:30 pm.
