Women's Basketball Drops Contest to Blue Knights

Spencer Tallies 16 in Loss

OLNEY, ILLINOIS - The Lady Jaguar basketball team dropped their first game back from Thanksgiving break to Olney Central by the score of 68-56. The Lady Jaguars were leading the contest at half 31-27; however, were not able to come out on the winning end.

Leading the offense for the Jaguars was Rachel Spencer who knocked down 16 total points in the contest. Annabella Falanga and Tarneisha Young also contributed in the loss adding 10 points respectively. The loss drops the Lady Jaguars to an overall record of 1-6.

Coach Harris, "We came out in the first half and played really good defense and our offense was starting to ignite, but we came out relatively flat in the second half and our third quarter was not the best offensively. We missed 15 free throws which could have helped sway the game in a different direction."

The Lady Jaguars will be back in action on December 7th when they take on Morton Community College beginning at 1PM.
