Men's Basketball set to Host JUCO Jamboree

Danville, Illinois - For the 29th year in a row, the Men's Basketball program is set to host the JUCO Jamboree on October 7th. This years jamboree includes 19 Junior College Teams from across Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio. Head Coach Dajuan Gouard is extremely excited for this years group as he sees an extreme amount of talent in his squad. Trying to improve on an incredible season, The Jaguar Basketball team boasted a phenomenal record of 27-8, reaching the NJCAA National Tournament for the first time since 2012. This years squad includes three sophomore returners; Jamil Wilson (Averaged 10.1PPG/ 2.9 RPG/ 2.9 APG) Evan Lowden (Averaged 6.9 PPG/ 2.9 RPB/ 1.G) and Dakari Caldwell (Averaged 1.1 PPG/ .8 RPG/ .4 APG). To see the Jaguars in action they are slated to open play at 9:00 AM against Lake Michigan on Court 1 at the Danville High School Field House, 11:00 AM against Lincoln Trail Court 2 at DHS Field house, 2:00 PM against Kennedy King at DHS Field House Court 2 and 3:00 PM against NJCAA National Qualifier Grand Rapids at DHS Field House Court 1.
