Lady Jaguars Lose to Cobras Wednesday Evening

DANVILLE, IL - The Jaguars were ahead at the end of the first quarter against the Cobras, but Parkland was able to bounce back later in the game to take the victory.

Danville (11-14) had a strong first quarter against Parkland (20-5), outscoring them 20-15 at the end of the ten minutes. The Cobras got their offense rolling though in the second quarter, scoring 21 points to Danville's 11 to go ahead at halftime 36-31. Parkland had a big third quarter, scoring 26 points and holding Danville to just 7. The Cobras kept the momentum and pressure over the Jaguars, outscoring them 25-14 in the fourth, securing the 87-52 victory.

Alexa Jamison led the Jaguars with 19 points, while Aleah Emers added 10.
