Blake Arnold Qualifies for NJCAA National Championship

Team finishes 4th in Region 24 Tournament

SPRINGFIELD, IL - DACC men's golf will be bringing back another golfer to the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championship after finding success in the 2025 Region Tournament on Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament featured nine teams, and the Jaguars landed in fourth place after day one. After round one, the team finished 15 over in third place behind Heartland and Parkland, respectively. At the conclusion of round two, DACC fell to fourth place, going an additional ten shots over. Round three wrapped everything up on Tuesday afternoon, where Danville finished fourth overall, shooting a total of +68 as a team.

Sophomore Blake Arnold earned his way to the Region 24 team after finishing fourth overall on the individual leaderboard, also qualifying him for the National Championship. After round one on Monday, Arnold shot a 75. After round two on Monday, he led all scorers on the board, shooting a 71. He shot a 75 in the final round on Tuesday, giving him a total gross score of 221. Arnold is now one of the eight Jaguar men's golfers that Coach French has sent to the Championships.

The tournament is May 20th through the 23rd in Plymouth, Indiana at the Swan Lake Golf Club.
