DACC Volleyball Gets 2 Wins on the Road

JOLIET, IL - The Jaguars played in a tri-match over the weekend at Joliet Junior College where they faced the Joliet Wolves and the Highland Scotties. As Danville rounds out the end of their regular season, they came home with two more wins.

Danville 3, Joliet 1
After winning the first set against the Wolves 25-21, Joliet won the second set 19-25, but it was Danville who came back to win the third set 25-18, and the fourth 25-17 to take the win. Halle Brazelton and Nadya Paredes each had a double-double this game, with Brazelton earning 17 assists and 12 digs, and Paredes earning 21 assists and 10 digs. Peyton Williams had 13 kills and Brenna Graddy had 11 kills.

Danville 3, Highland 2
In game two of the tri-match, Danville faced Highland Community College in a close 5 set game. Danville won set one 25-18, lost set two 16-25, won set three 25-22, lost set four 19-25, and won the fifth set in extra points at 19-17 to win the game. Peyton Williams had a double-double with 13 kills and 13 digs, while Kayln Cordes had 22 digs and Kya Stahl had 21 digs.
