Lorenzo McMillion Named MWAC & Region 24 Player of the Year

McMillion & Jackson Twombly awarded other conference & region honors

DANVILLE, IL - Names have been released for the 2025 MWAC Conference and Region 24 honors.

Lorenzo McMillion has been named the 2024-25 MWAC Conference and Region 24 Player of the Year, and has earned MWAC All-Conference 1st team honors, and All Region 24 team honors. The sophomore from Nashville has appeared in all 28 games this season, and has started in 26 of them. He currently sits with 376 total points on the year, averaging 13.4 per game. He has 204 total rebounds, averaging 7.3 per game. Additionally, he has had six double-doubles this year.

Jackson Twombly has also received some post-season recognition this year. Twombly was also named to the MWAC All-Conference 1st team, as well as the All Region 24 team. The sophomore has been a big addition to the Jaguars this season, as he has appeared in all 28 games, starting in 24 of them. He currently has 296 total points this season, averaging 10.6 per game. He also has 114 total rebounds, averaging 4.1 per game.
