Men's & Women's Basketball Awarded With Post-Season Hardware

Ringo, Gregory & Weemer all make the list

DANVILLE, IL - Jaguar basketball was recognized on both the men's and women's side this year as two players from the men's team and one player from the women's team received honors.

Sophomore Keiara Gregory was the solo women's basketball player who earned All-Conference and All-Region recognition. Gregory was named to the MWAC All-Conference 1st team and to the All-Region 24 team. She averaged 21.5 points per game in her 30 games played this year. Additionally, she had 71 steals, 106 assists, and 645 total points scored this season.

Sophomore Terrence Ringo was one of two men's basketball players who earned awards for the men's team. Ringo, who missed part of the season due to an injury, earned MWAC All-Conference 1st team and All-Region 24 team honors. Ringo averaged 10.5 points per game, as well as 6.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks. Freshman Payton Weemer was also named to the All-Region 24 team. Weemer averaged 9.3 points per game, with 4.9 rebounds per game, with a 46.4 field goal percentage.
