Dowers Scores 30, Danville Gains Momentum Heading Into Post Season

GODFREY, ILLINOIS – Lady Jaguar Basketball traveled to Godfrey, Illinois to take on Lewis & Clark Community College and to gain some momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.

The Jaguars improved their record to 5-12 after a thrilling victory over the Trailblazers tonight by a final score of 78-73.

Leading the charge for the Jaguars was Freshman Riley Dowers who scored 30 points. Freshman Asaya Bulgin tallied 18 to help the strong performance from Dowers.

The Jaguars will now host Spoon River on Wednesday. The Snappers are currently 1-15 heading into the contest, Danville will look to capitalize and make a strong push heading into the Region 24 Tournament.
