Lady Jaguars Drop Contest to #7 Illinois Central

Riley Dowers and Anaiya Robinson Lead Jaguar Scoring with 12

DANVILLE, ILLINOIS – The Lady Jaguars hosted #7 Illinois Central College on Thursday Night.  Illinois Central won the contest by a final score of 96-47.  The Jaguars drop to 2-4 on the year.

ICC started off hot in the first quarter, jumping out to a commanding 24-15 lead and never looked back.  Freshman Riley Dowers and Sophomore Anaiya Robinson lead the scoring the Jaguars tonight with 12 points.  Freshman Maria Artigas added her first double digit scoring game with 10.

The Jaguars will shift gears and begin to focus Lewis and Clark on February 14^th.  Lewis and Clark have started the year 0-4, and recently dropped their contest to Danville rival, Parkland.  The Trail Blazers are averaging 56.3 points per game.  Danville is 2-4 and averaging 56.8 points per game.
