Lady Jaguars Drop Season Opener

DeCastro and Wiley Tally 14 Points Each

DANVILLE, ILLINOIS - The Lady Jaguars started the game off strong through the first half of the season opener against Kaskaskia College; however, the Lady Jaguars were unable to fend off the Blue Angel's as they dropped the first game of the season 73-61.

Despite heading into the second half with the lead, the Lady Jaguars were outscored in the 3rd and 4th quarters by a combined score of 44 - 28.

Coach Harris on the game, "We are not handling adversity right now, we come out strong in the first half and we struggled to deal with their pressure late in the game, we need to be better."

Lauryn Wiley and Sarah Decastro both tallied 14 points in the contest leading the Lady Jaguar offense. Rachel Spencer added a solid 11 points and 4 assists.
