Lady Jaguars Drop Battle to KCC

Danville, Illinois - After a hot start, the Lady Jaguar Basketball team has dropped their sixth straight basketball contest with a loss to Kankakee Community College 58-50. Although, throughout the losses the team has competed, and displayed tremendous heart in every game. Of the teams six losses, five games have been determined by eight or six points. With only six eligible players, the Lady Jaguars have proven to be tough regardless of the situation.

Leading the way again for the Lady Jaguars was Maria Falanga (Torre Del Greco, Italy) with 19 points. Adding for the Jaguars was Amari Brodie (Hopkinsville, Kentucky) with 11, and Kylie Vogel (Fairbury, Illinois) with 10.

The Lady Jaguars will have a full week off before their next contest against Olney Central College. The matchup will be played in Danville, Illinois at the Mary Miller Gymnasium with tip off beginning at 1:00 PM.
