Women's Basketball Falls to Ancilla College on Saturday

PLYMOUTH, IN - The Jaguars were ahead of the Chargers till the third quarter in the game on Saturday, and Danville wasn't able to bounce back.

Danville (5-6) were tied with Ancilla College (6-1) after the first quarter at 16 a piece. The Jaguars then outscored the Chargers 17-16 in the second to go up 33-32 at halftime. Ancilla was then able to hold Danville to just 8 points in the third quarter, and scored 25 of their own to take the 57-41 lead at the end of the third. Both teams were even in scoring in the fourth at 14 each, but it was Ancilla who came out on top with the final score being 71-55.

Alexa Jamison led Danville with 12 points, while Ma'Kaela Drake had 11, and Madison Jobe added 10.

The Jaguars will play again on Saturday, December 13th when they host Olive-Harvey College at 1 pm in the Mary Miller Gymnasium.
