Cross Country Runs in Heartland Invite on September 25th

NORMAL, IL - The Jaguars ran in their fourth race of the season on September 25th at the Heartland Community College Invitational. Head coach Dalton Baker is hopeful for the team's potential in the future as they move forward.

"Heartland was our second 8K of the season for the guys," Baker said. "Overall, I thought that they are getting a grasp of being able to run for a longer distance. Everyone did a really great job and ran to their fullest potential! Thomas was our leader in a time of 28:56 and finished 19th overall in a race that had a bunch of our regional teams. Jakob came in second for us and ran a 4-5 minute pr coming in at 32:40. Finishing 3rd and 4th on our team were Cooper and Malachi running pr's as well. Logan had a great race as well. This race was the first for our sole girl runner Addie. She has been out for most of the season but has shown great improvement from the last few weeks of training. I look forward to her really coming on strong at the end of the season for us."
