Casey Hug came to Danville Area Community College through Carle Sports Medicine in January of 2021, serving as the Head Athletic Trainer for all of the Jaguar sports. Besides regular training room hours throughout the week for the Jaguar athletic department and games, Casey also sees patients in the walk-in sports medicine clinic in Champaign, IL. Hug began his career in Talahassee, Florida and primarily covered a local high school. Casey has been employed with Carle Sports Medicine since 2003, with the majority of his time as the certified athletic trainer for both Rantoul and St. Joseph High Schools.
The Lincoln, Nebraska native is a 1998 graduate of Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training and he is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer in the state of Illinois.
Casey and his wife Kathy reside in St. Joseph, Illinois with their daughter Taylor and dog Bailey.
