Danville Area Community College Athletics

Savanna Rudy joined the Danville Area Community College volleyball coaching staff in February 2025 as a volunteer assistant coach before becoming a part-time assistant coach in July 2026.

A Danville, Illinois, native, Rudy brings more than 10 years of playing experience to the Jaguar volleyball program. She played throughout her high school career at Danville High School and later competed with the Illinois Women’s Volleyball Club at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, helping the team capture national titles in 2022 and 2024.

Prior to joining DACC, Rudy gained coaching and athletics experience as a strength and conditioning volunteer with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Wheelchair Basketball program and as a coach with Prime Time Volleyball Club.

Rudy earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2024. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with an expected graduation date of 2027.

During her time at DACC, Rudy has been part of a program whose student-athletes have earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors, including two First Team selections and one Third Team selection.
