GRAYSLAKE, IL - The Danville Area Community College Jaguars volleyball team turned in another strong performance, earning a pair of 3-0 victories at the College of Lake County Tri-Match.
DACC vs Milwaukee Area Technical College
DACC opened the day against Milwaukee Area Technical College, battling through three competitive sets to earn a 26-24, 25-20, 25-21 victory.
The Jaguars and Stormers traded leads throughout the opening set before DACC came through in the closing points to take the 26-24 win. The Jaguars carried that momentum into the second set, winning 25-20, before closing out the match with a 25-21 victory in the third.
Brenna Graddy led the DACC offense with 11 kills, while Maddison Appl added seven kills and four block assists. Aleeya Rudy contributed three block assists at the net.
Tinley Parkerson and Nadya Paredes helped guide the Jaguar offense with 16 and 11 assists, respectively. Stahl provided a strong all-around performance, recording four aces, 17 pass receptions and 16 digs.
DACC vs College of Lake County
The Jaguars followed their opening victory with another sweep, defeating the host College of Lake County Lancers 3-0 by scores of 25-16, 26-24 and 25-21.
DACC controlled the opening set from the start, earning a 25-16 victory. Lake County pushed the Jaguars in the second set, but DACC held on for a 26-24 win. The Jaguars then finished the match with a 25-21 third-set victory.
Graddy once again led the Jaguar offense, finishing with 10 kills. Appl added seven kills and two block assists, while Rudy contributed six kills, one solo block and one block assist. Kaylee Barker also recorded six kills.
Paredes directed the offense with 16 assists and added two aces, while Parkerson contributed 14 assists and 10 digs. Maya Smith recorded eight digs, while Stahl added 17 digs to help anchor the Jaguar defense.
