Lady Jaguars Win Final Regular Season Game of the Year

CANTON, IL - Danville has officially wrapped their 2025-26 regular season on Saturday, ending it with a victory over Spoon River College to end the regular season 14-15.

The Jaguars (14-15) were on the road for their last game against the Snappers (9-16) and despite being down at the end of both the first and second quarter, Danville climbed back. The score was 28-26 at halftime, but the Jaguars held Spoon River to just 8 points in the third quarter, and scored 16 of their own to take the lead at the end of the third at 42-36. Danville scored 24 points in the fourth, and only allowed the Snappers to score 11, giving Danville the 66-47 win.

Madison Jobe was the leading scorer for the game with 22 points, while Aleah Emers scored 10, and Alexa Jamison added 9.

Danville will play again on Tuesday, March 3rd when they start Region 24 Tournament play in Mattoon, Illinois at 5:30pm, facing off with the Lake Land College Lakers.
