Women's Basketball Falls to ICC in East Peoria on Monday

EAST PEORIA, IL - Danville had a difficult time getting things going against the Cougars of Illinois Central Monday afternoon as they fell to ICC 91-45.

The Jaguars (8-11) were down 15-8 at the end of the first quarter, and were then outscored 24-6 in the second quarter, giving Illinois Central (16-3) the 39-14 lead at halftime. The Cougars forced 21 turnovers on Danville, and outscored the Jaguars 52-31 in the second half to win 91-45.

Alexa Jamison led Danville with 11 points, while Chioma Igwe added 10.

Danville will play again on Saturday, January 24th when they travel to Godfrey, Illinois to face Lewis & Clark Community College at 1pm.
