Lady Jaguars Lose to Malcolm X

DANVILLE, IL - Danville women's basketball fell to Malcolm X Saturday afternoon in their final game of December.

The Jaguars (5-8) couldn't get things going against the Hawks (7-3), despite having the 2-point lead at the end of the first quarter. Malcolm X went on to outscore Danville 23-10 in the second quarter, earning the 34-23 lead at the half. The Hawks then scored 25 points against the Jaguar's 12 points in the third, and closed out the game with a final score of 85-55.

Madison Jobe led all scorers with 28 points, while Chioma Igwe added 8.

Danville will be off for a couple weeks, and will return to play on Saturday, January 3rd when they face Lake Land College at home at 1 pm.
