Jaguars Finish Strong, End Regular Season on Win Over Rend Lake

DANVILLE, ILLINOIS – The Jaguars hosted Rend Lake on Sunday to finish out the 2021 Regular Season. The Jaguars were coming into the contest after an impressive win over #14 Spoon River on Thursday night, along with riding a three-game win streak.

The Jaguars defeated Rend Lake by the final score of 85-77 to finish out the regular season.  Danville finished the season with 6-9 record and will continue to build off their impressive finish to the year.

Leading the Jaguar offense was Daylen Davis-Williams who scored a monstrous 29 points on the night. Freshman Lewis Richards helped Davis-Williams with 19 points.  Freshman Kameron Barnett added 17 points.  Freshman stars Drew Reifsteck and Ahmoni Weston also added 10 points respectively on the night.

The Jaguars will now wait to hear who they will play in the Region 24 Tournament and will shift their focus towards post season.
