Jaguars Gain Momentum Heading into Final Stretch

SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS – The Jaguars traveled to MWAC foe Lincoln Land on Thursday night in a dominant fashion.  Danville has been looking to capitalize and gain momentum heading into the final stretch of the season and they earned that after defeating the Loggers 78-53. 
 
Leading the scoring for the Jaguars was Danville native; Daylen Davis-Williams with 17 points, while also adding 6 rebounds. Both Tyshay Epps and Kameron Barnett chipped in with 12 points, Bismarck native Drew Reifsteck added 11 points, and freshman David Gorman tallied 10 points off the bench. 
 
The Jaguars will now look to keep their momentum going into conference leading Spoon River.  Spoon River is currently 8-0 in MWAC play and 14-5 on the year.  The Jaguars improve to 4-9 on the year and 3-5 in MWAC play.
