Jaguars Climb Back over .500 with Win over ICC

Brummett, Dee and Parker Lead Jaguars in Win

DANVILLE, ILLINOIS - The Jaguars extend their winning streak and remain unbeaten in the 2020 year with a solid performance over Illinois Central. The Jaguars came out in the first half and the offense and defense were not mixing very well as the Cougars led by three. While the Jaguars were down at half, the came back to score 52 points in the second session and caged the Cougars by the final score of 82-70.

The win puts the Jaguars back over .500 to bring their overall record to 9-8. Illinois Central drops to 9-11. Leading the Jaguar offense was Armon Brummett with 23 points, Bailey Dee with 15 points, and Malik Parker who chipped in with 13. William Brown helped behind the arch by nailing 3-4 to tally 9 points.

The Jaguars are back in action at home on February 19th when they hose Lincoln Land in a MWAC Conference match up.
