Emily Dieu joined the Danville Area Community College coaching staff in June of 2024 as the Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach, with the addition of the new volleyball program.Â
Coach Dieu is from Bismarck, Illinois and attended Danville Area Community College where she received her Associate's degree in Nursing. After DACC, she transferred to Olivet Nazarene University where she got her Bachelor's degree in Nursing.Â
Emily played volleyball all through junior high and high school, and this position will be her first coaching job in her career. Head Coach Shawna Jameson extended the offer for the position to Coach Dieu, as they both have a strong passion for the sport.
