Personal
Carter graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 2021. He was named to the Big 8 All-Conference team twice on his baseball team, and was also named to the Big 8 All-Conference team once on his football team. He helped his high school baseball team win the Wisconsin State Championship once, and the team were also runner-ups in another season. He graduated in 2021 with high honors.
