DANVILLE, IL - The Danville Area Community College Jaguars volleyball team faced a tough test against the Parkland College Cobras Wednesday evening, falling 3-0 by scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-14.
The Jaguars battled throughout the match but were unable to overcome Parkland's early leads in each set. The Cobras took the opening set 25-14 before earning a 25-19 victory in the second. Parkland closed out the match with another 25-14 win in the third set.
Thayren Rigsby led the Jaguars offensively with seven kills and added two block assists. Nadya Paredes helped direct the DACC offense with 10 assists, while Maddison Appl provided a spark from the service line with three aces. Kya Stahl led the defensive effort with 15 digs, helping keep the Jaguars in rallies throughout the match. Kaylee Barker also contributed two block assists at the net.

Danville will play in the College of Lake County Tri-Match on Saturday, September 19th when they face Milwaukee Area Technical College at 12pm, and College of Lake County at 2pm in Grayslake, Illinois.
