Jaguars Lose to Loggers on Saturday

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Jaguar women's basketball fell to Lincoln Land on Saturday, despite having the lead at the end of the first quarter.

Danville (11-13) were up 15-14 at the end of the first quarter against the Loggers (22-2), but Lincoln Land went on to outscore Danville 20-7 to go up 34-22 at the half. The Jaguars only shot 18.8% from field-goal range in the third, whereas the Loggers shot 31.6%. Lincoln Land outscored Danville again in the fourth, at 24-11, to secure the 73-42 victory.

Chioma Igwe and Madison Jobe both led Danville with 11 points each, while Alexa Jamison added 9.
