Lady Jaguars Win 71-63 Over Kaskaskia

DANVILLE, IL - The Lady Jaguars got their first win of 2026 with their victory over the Blue Devils of Kaskaskia College Wednesday evening.

Danville (7-8) were down by three at the end of the first quarter against Kaskaskia (5-10), but went on to outscore the Devils 21-15 in the second quarter to go up 36-33 at the half. The Jaguars were able to force six turnovers on Kaskaskia in the third quarter and were up by two heading into the fourth. The team stretched their lead towards the end of the game and held the Devils to only 35.7% in field-goals in the fourth, and secured the win with a final score of 71-63.

Madison Jobe led Danville with 19 points, while Chioma Igwe added 15 and Aleah Emers added 13.

The Jaguars will play again on Saturday, January 10th at 1pm when they host Lincoln Land Community College.
