Jaguars Beat 4th Ranked Cobras in Top-15 Matchup Wednesday Night

CHAMPAIGN, IL - It came down to the wire between the two conference foes Wednesday night as the Jaguars were on the road in Champaign.

Danville (13-1) upset the #4 seed Parkland (15-3) on their home floor in a close contest that ultimately ended in the Jaguar's favor. It was a low scoring first half for both of the teams as it was back and forth with lead changes. Parkland went up 31-24 at halftime, and it was a similar case in the second half with both teams exchanging the lead. A pair of free throws at the very end of the game for Danville is what helped secure the 64-60 win.

The Jaguars evenly spread their scoring with Keyton Barnes leading with 12 points, Jeremy Wilson added 11, and DeShawn Clark adding 10.

Danville will play another road game on Saturday, January 17th when they travel to Quincy, Illinois to face John Wood at 3pm.
