Volleyball Drops Final Two Regular Season Games in Morton Tri-Match

MORTON, IL - Jaguar volleyball played in their final two regular season games on Saturday as they traveled to Morton, Illinois for the Morton College tri-match featuring the Morton College Panthers and the Parkland College Cobras.

Danville 1, Morton 3
The Jaguars put up a fight in their first game on Saturday when they faced the Panthers. Morton won set one 25-12, set two 25-15, Danville bounced back and won set three 25-21, but Morton won the fourth 27-25 and took the win, 3-1. 

Aleeya Rudy led the team with 10 kills, while Peyton Williams had 7 kills and 16 digs. Halle Brazelton added 22 assists.

Danville 0, Parkland 3
In their second game of the day, the Jaguars faced the Cobras where Parkland swept Danville in three straight sets, 25-18, 25-9, 25-10. The Jaguars struggled to get things going offensively as they hit only .072 in comparison to Parkland's .312.

Peyton Williams had 6 kills and 5 digs against the Cobras.

Danville will play in the Districts tournament on Saturday, November 8th when they face #1 Heartland Community College at 11 am in Normal, Illinois.
